Set up an account
Create a new account
By default, your node creates an account when you start up your node for the first time. You can create a new account at any time with the following command:
ironfish wallet:create
> ironfish wallet:create

Set the default account
When you have multiple accounts you can set which account to use as the default account:
> ironfish wallet:use MyNewAccount
The default account is now: MyNewAccount
Note: When running a command the default account is used unless you specify another account
What account am I using?
If you don't know what account you are using you can use the following command
> ironfish wallet:which
MyNewAccount
Backup your account
You should always backup your account, you can export the account in bech32 format using
> ironfish wallet:export

Save this output somewhere physical and keep it safe. you can also get your account in mneomonic format using
ironfish wallet:export --mnemonic
See all the accounts
If you want to see all of the accounts in your wallet run this command
> ironfish wallet:accounts
default john handfish
